Cancellation & refunds

Cancel any time. Keep what you paid for.

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut off the month you have already paid for, and it never removes the work you have already done.

Effective 14 October 2026

1. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and nobody to email first.

Cancelling means one thing: we stop asking your bank for the next payment. It is not a request for a refund and it does not end your current month early.

2. What happens to your access

You keep full paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel on day 3 of a month you have paid for, you keep everything until day 30.

After that, your account stays open and everything you have already earned remains visible, permanently and at no cost:

  • every test you have taken, with your answers and marks
  • every analysis already generated for you
  • your saved questions
  • your XP, streak history and past results

What stops is the creation of anything new: new tests, new evaluations, and new analysis. We do not take away work you have already done, and we do not put your own history behind a paywall.

3. Refunds

We do not refund the current month once its payment has been taken. You have access for the whole of that month, and cancelling part-way through does not shorten it or reduce the charge.

We do refund anything we should not have taken. If a payment is duplicated, taken after a cancellation, taken at the wrong amount, or taken for a subscription that was never activated, we return it in full — to the original payment method, without asking you to justify it.

The CAT 2026 Pass is a single payment and is not refunded once paid. There is nothing to cancel: it ends by itself on 30 November 2026. The rule above for anything we should not have taken applies to it as well.

Approved refunds are issued to the original source. Once we send it, the time it takes to appear is set by your bank or card issuer, not by us; typically 5 to 7 business days.

To raise one, contact support@astaris.in with the payment date and amount.

4. If a payment fails

If a scheduled payment does not go through, we retry for 24 hours. If it has still not succeeded at the end of that window, the subscription is cancelled automatically.

Nothing is lost when that happens — your account and all your past work stay exactly as described in section 2. You are simply back on the free tier until you subscribe again.

5. Subscribing again later

You are welcome back at any time. Note that re-subscribing is at the price current on the day you re-subscribe, which may be higher than the price you paid before.

Introductory pricing holds only for as long as a subscription runs without a break. If it lapses — whether you cancelled deliberately or a payment failed — the introductory rate is not restored.

6. The free tier

Every account gets one free test and one free analysis, so you can see what the product actually does before paying for it. That is the point of it: if it does not help you, do not subscribe.
